This summer, we will focus on reading and writing skills. Students will work in groups with similar abilities. Young students will focus on basic reading skills and practicing writing letters and simple sentences. Older students will read work and then write on a theme or with a specific goal in mind. For example, students might read an article discussing global warming solutions. Then they will write a piece comparing and contrasting the solutions they read.
High school students will receive work focusing on the skills they need to work on and would like to hone to prepare for college and career opportunities.
